Andreas
The combination of BCG people, clients, and challenge fits my wish list of a perfect job!
Andreas
Partner & Managing Director, Stockholm
A Personal Story
After 16 years at BCG, people often ask me why I’m still around. There are three reasons. Firstly, the people, who are brilliant, fun, challenging—just fantastic. Secondly, there are the client relationships. It is very rewarding and exciting to be a trusted discussion partner to senior management, and you never get tired of it.  Finally, there is the constant challenge. As soon as you think you are just managing to fill your position properly, someone is raising the bar. This combination of BCG people, clients, and challenge is in my mind unique, and fits my wish list of a perfect job like a glove!
Background
Andreas graduated from the School of Economics in 1989. He joined the Stockholm office in 1992. He lives with his wife, three boys, and a dog. Andreas particularly enjoys spending time with the family, vacations, triathlon, and tennis.

Our philosophy is in our name—The Boston Consulting Group—we are a strong team of great individuals.

Principal, Copenhagen
A Personal Story
Leading a team of intelligent characters with individual backgrounds makes every day an exciting journey. By leading this group of individuals towards a common goal, to create value for our clients, I am always amazed by the creative, dynamic, and open-minded team culture. We are all part of one team, regardless of whether one is a partner or has recently started—with this philosophy in mind, leading a BCG team is the most fascinating and challenging role. Every day my work reminds me how it was to be handball player: we were a group of many individuals following one goal, being a winning team. If you want to join BCG, then you'll join a winning team.
Background
Timo Glave joined BCG 2006 in the Stockholm office and transferred to Copenhagen at the beginning of 2008. For me, BCG is a unique platform to team up with current and upcoming Finnish business leaders.
Pekka
Partner & Managing Director, Helsinki
A Personal Story

BCG works in partnership with leading Finnish companies. We do our utmost to achieve true and sustained impact by collaborating across all levels of their organizations, from top to bottom. We want to build long and trusting relationships that help companies and individuals succeed.

I have personally been inspired by the ambition to be part of a team to lead all through my career. As a consultant I worked side-by-side with my middle manager counterparts solving the issues at hand and developing practical solutions. As a project leader I teamed up with the client project champion, and both of our teams, to drive the client organization forward. Now as a partner, I feel privileged to be a trusted discussion partner for the top management of our clients.

Background
Pekka holds an MS in industrial management from the Helsinki University of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD. Pekka joined BCG’s Stockholm office in 1996 and moved to Helsinki in 1997. Pekka also practices his leadership skills at home, being a father of three (very active) boys.

Senior Partner & Managing Director, Stockholm
A Personal Story
Working for BCG means personal development and reward in all dimensions. Working closely with the leading global companies and their senior executives in defining how they should compete to win, while creating significant value for their shareholders, is truly exciting. Being a true partner and being offered a seat at the table is when BCG teams really start to drive value exponentially for our clients. The types of relationships you can develop doing this go well beyond individual projects—it means sharing both passion and drive to create significant bottom-line impact.
Background
Per holds a degree from the Stockholm School of Economics, and an MBA from HBS. He joined BCG in 1990, and has worked in London, Munich, and Stockholm. He is the head of BCG in Sweden.
